Often on installation projects a small antivibraion pad is required which has not been detailed.

Designed for just such an eventuallity Armadillo have compiled the “Site Pack”

This comprises of 16 pieces of 12.5 mm Armacork cut to a handy 50mm wide by 600 mm long.

Applications include mounting chillers, blowers compressors and pumps.

Can also be used to make washers and packing shims or stacked up to three layers thick to provide excellent isolation.

Pack Contents:
16 off Isolation strips 600mm by 50 mm by 12.5 mm thick. (Total area 0.48 square metres)
Max Load per strip 500 Kg
Pack weight 5 Kg

Working Temperature.
Continuous temperature exposure limits for long life are 120°C maximum and -30°C minimum.

Compression, Set and Creep
The initial deflection of Amcork will be up to 7% of original thickness for maximum load. There may
be a further set of 2% over the next year.

Armadillo Isolated Washers.
Isolated Washers are critical to prevent the transmission of vibration. If washers are not isolated vibration can track up through the bolt head and back down the bolt to bypass the Isolation pad.

Washer Construction
Die cut from Armadillo Armacork the washers have the same resistance to oil and brine offering excellent isolation characteristics. Bonded to a zinc plated steel spreader washer to ensure full area even contact and a uniform working stress a proffessional installation requires Armadillo Isolaion washers.
